AddCell’s CRISPR-edited cell lines database is the most comprehensive of its kind, featuring detailed information on more than 6,000 cell lines and growing daily. In addition, the database covers a wide range of cell types from different organisms, including human, mouse, and rat cells. It includes information on gene characteristics, such as functional and biological functions and disease associations. The algorithm behind the search engine is based on a combination of natural language processing (NLP) and machine learning techniques. The algorithm developed within a master thesis project at the Chalmers University of Technology. The thesis is available
